For centuries, women have helped other women bring babies into the world. They have been known as "midwives", a term meaning "with women". Today, the certified nurse-midwife fill this important role by combining professional skill and individualized care. With special training in women's health, she offers those in their childbearing years a safe, sensitive, and very personal alternative.
All of the nurse-midwives in our practice hold a masters degree in nursing with special certification in nurse-midwifery. While we independently manage the care of our healthy patients, we have 24-hour access to dedicated physicians board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Our practice philosophy is one of education and support for women. Our focus is on wellness and consumer choice. The result is an added dimension of care for women and families, working together to provide a full range on prenatal care and delivery services.
