Our Physicians
Sarah Blake, MD, earned a bachelor's of science degree with honors in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Kansas. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at KU Medical Center before joining Topeka OB/GYN Associates in August 2009.
Cathy Dahl, DO, received her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Kansas. She joined Topeka OB/GYN Associates in 2005 and is board-certified from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Lisa Goularte, DO, FACOG, a Topeka native, earned a degree in chemistry summa cum laude from Washburn University and a medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. She completed her residency at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Miss. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and worked at Langley Air Force Base, Misawa Air Force Base and Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City, Utah, before returning to Topeka.
Polly Train, MD, earned a bachelor's degree in zoology from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, and a doctor of medicine degree from the American University of the Caribbean, Saint Maarten, Netherlands, Antilles. She completed obstetrics and gynecology residencies at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, La.; Medical College of Ohio, Toledo; and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ypsilanti, Mich., before joining Topeka OB/GYN Associates in 2008.
Thomas M. Wiley, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecologist the University of Chicago. He joined Topeka OB/GYN Associates in 2003 and became board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996.
 Certified Nurse-Midwives
In addition to traditional obstetric care, Topeka OB/GYN Associates offers high-quality, comprehensive, nurse-midwifery care focused on the health needs of women throughout the life cycle. Pregnancy, childbirth, menarche and menopause are normal, healthy events that can be enhanced through guidance, education, counseling and support of women and their families. As a part of the health care team, a nurse-midwife provides continuity of care, emphasizes safety, advocates non-intervention in normal processes and promotes health education for women throughout the childbearing cycle and beyond. The certified nurse-midwives have hospital delivery privileges.
Denise Nickel, CNM, earned a bachelor's degree in nurshing from Washburn University and graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center Midwifery Program. She previously worked as a registered nurse at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in the ICU/CCU and at Stormont-Vail.
Manya Schmidt, CNM, earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Washburn University and graduated from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. She completed a master's degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She joined Topeka OB/GYN Associates in 2004.
Kim Keen, CNM, bachelor's degree in nursing from Washburn University and graduated from the Midwifery Institute at Philadelphia University. She also earned a master's degree with an emphasis on women's health from Philadelphia University. She joined Topeka OB/GYN Associates in 2004.

Cheryl Dultmeier, ARNP-C, received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Washburn University School of Nursing, Topeka, Kan., and her master's degree in nursing from the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
