Easy Street

Easy Street

Easy Street helps patients prepare for daily interactionsPatients can practice getting in and out of a car, filling a tank of gas and driving down the street

Easy Street is an area equipped with fit-to-scale replicas of local businesses and common community settings so that patients can practice routine activities such as pumping gas, transferring in and out of a car, shopping for groceries and conducting banking transactions. This feature, combined with a transitional living apartment, gives patients and their families the opportunity to face everyday challenges with the support of the treatment team so the patient can make a smooth transition to the community.
