Diabetes & Endocrinology Center
Our expert endocrinologists and diabetes educators work closely together to provide you with coordinated care. Your overall health is our main priority; that’s why we focus on prevention and education.
Our professional team has the caring spirit that is cherished at St. Francis Health. From diagnosis and treatment to life-long prevention, we are with you every step of the way. Our endocrinologists treat the following diseases/conditions: high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes, osteoporosis, cholesterol problems, menopause, metabolic disorders, thyroid diseases, and excessive or insufficient production of hormones.
- Type 1 diabetes
- Type 2 diabetes
- Gestational diabetes
- Thyroid cancer
We have a dietitian on our team who offers Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Education. Once a month we have an informational event onsite or out in the community where we discuss a new topic at each event.
For the convenience of our patients with gestational diabetes, we are at the St. Francis Health Women’s Center on Tuesdays and provide care from onset to delivery.
We provide diabetes education for our patients to help them improve their quality of life. Learning to manage diabetes on a daily basis is important and we teach you how to incorporate diabetes management into your daily life. We will help you develop and meet your goals, celebrating your successes along the way.
