Outpatient Rehabilitation Services

The St. Francis Outpatient Rehabilitation Services team members assist patients in reducing pain, promoting healing and improving functional abilities. Patients are educated about correct posture, body mechanics, positioning, strengthening exercises and other techniques to allow them to function at the highest possible level.

Outpatient Rehabilitation Services provides treatment at several convenient locations throughout the community.

St. Francis Health Fourth Floor Location

The outpatient center, located adjacent to the inpatient center on the fourth floor of St. Francis Health, provides physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as psychology services.

Mulvane Location

Outpatient Rehabilitation Services also provides services on the fourth floor of 634 Mulvane, Suite 404. This program provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and industrial rehabilitation.

St. Francis Mission Woods

St. Francis extends into the southwest Topeka community by providing outpatient therapy services at St. Francis Mission Woods, 2835 SW Mission Woods Drive. Therapists at this location are specially trained to treat musculoskeletal disorders, such as low back and neck pain, shoulder injuries, work-related injuries, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and other impairments.

Services provided include:

  • Incontinence and pelvic floor pain treatment
  • Progressive exercise programs
