St. Francis Women's Center has five physicians, one nurse practitioner and three certified nurse midwifes. We have varied backgrounds with strong roots to the Topeka community. Our experience and personalities come together to form a caring and compassionate team to provide excellent care in women's health for our community. Sara Blake, MD
Sara Blake, MD, earned a bachelor's of science degree with honors in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Kansas. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at KU Medical Center before joining St. Francis Women's Center in August 2009.
Brian Cobb, MD
Brian Cobb, MD, earned a bachelor's of science degree in biology from Friends University and his medical degree from the University of Kansas. Dr. Cobb did his residency at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, PA. Prior to joining St Francis Health Women’s Center in 2011, he spent three years in Grants Pass, OR in private practice. He is also member of the US Army Reserves, currently serving with the rank of Major.
Lisa Goularte, DO
Lisa Goularte, DO, FACOG, a Topeka native, earned a degree in chemistry summa cum laude from Washburn University and a medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. She completed her residency at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Ms and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served in the United States Air Force for seven years. She practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Langley Air Force Base, Misawa Air Force Base and Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City, Utah, before returning to Topeka.
Dr. Goularte practices a full range of obstetrics and gynecology care. She maintains a modest practice of gynecology including pelvic pain, menstrual irregularities, endometriosis and gynecologic surgery. She favors obstetrics (particularly high risk pregnancies), preconception counseling and infertility.
Jamie Rempe, DO
Jamie Rempe, DO, received her bachelors degree from the University of Kansas and her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed her residency at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, MI. She is a Topeka native and remains active in her community, volunteering for events such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the Adopt-A-Family program.
Dr. Rempe practices a wide range of obstetrics and gynecology care, including infertility, Well Woman exams and robotic hysterectomies.
Tom Wiley, MD
Thomas M. Wiley, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecologist the University of Chicago in 1990. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Topeka for 21 years and joined St. Francis Women's Center in 2003.
Cheryl Dultmeier, APRN-C
Cheryl Dultmeier, ARNP-C, received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Washburn University School of Nursing, Topeka, Kan., and her master's degree in nursing from the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She joined St. Francis Women's Center in 2001. She was previously a staff nurse for St. Francis Health.
Denise Nickel, APRN, CNM
Denise Nickel , APRN/CNM received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Washburn University in 1999 and a master's degree in nursing with a certificate in midwifery from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2007. Her experience in nursing includes working as a registered nurse in the ICU/CCU at Shawnee Mission Medical Center and seven years of high-risk labor and delivery at Stormont-Vail HealthCare. Nickel joined St. Francis Women's Center in 2007 and is board certified through the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Kierston Bocquin, APRN, CNM
Kim Keen, APRN, CNM
Kim Keen, CNM, received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Washburn University and graduated from the Midwifery Institute at Philadelphia University. She also earned a master's degree with an emphasis on women's health from Philadelphia University. She served as a registered nurse in the US Army Reserves and was employed at St Francis Labor and Delivery until she joined St. Francis Women's Center in 2004. Kim's focus is on obstetrical patients with the remainder of her practicing consisting of well woman care - annual exams, pap smears, family practice and non-complicated gynecologic problems.
