Community Health Needs Assessment
The IRS requires non-profit (Section 501(c) (3)) hospitals to complete a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). St. Francis Health, Stormont-Vail Healthcare and the Shawnee County Health Agency conducted the Shawnee County Community Health Needs Assessment in 2016. The CHNA is important to St. Francis Health’s mission of improving the health of the people and communities we serve. Our leadership is dedicated to ensuring that our combined efforts are focused on the health issues most important to the people in our region. We will conduct a CHNA every three years and adopt an action plan to meet the community health needs identified through the assessment.

- Healthy Eating
- Substance Abuse (focus on tobacco)
- Access to Care
